A shocking video is being shared online showing a man being brutally attacked in Watford town centre.

It appears to have happened in The Parade, just outside the Peace Hospice Care store, as the victim walked with two other people and a woman with a stroller.

According to @CrimeLdn, who shared the video, it happened on Tuesday (June 14).

The person recording is following a hooded male from a distance, who is then seen approaching the victim from the side and punching him in the face unprovoked.

The attacker then repeatedly punches the victim until he drops to the ground and is then kicked several times.

A random woman is then seen running up to intervene as she shouts “stop it, stop” and separates the two.

The context behind the video is currently unknown.

A Herts Police spokesperson said it appears the attack has not yet been reported but local officers have now been made aware.
