Following a week-long event at The Harlequin shopping centre in Watford shoppers have revealed their favourite childhood memories.
And more than a third of those asked during the week said their favourite memory was "playing outdoors for hours until dark".
Shoppers were asked for their favourite memories in a campaign called Hundreds and Thousands of Memories organised by the Childrens' Society and supported by Big Brother celebrities Samantha and Amanda, "Samanda" who visited the shopping centre last week.
More than 2,200 memories were left during the week and the twins said: "We think The Children's Society is doing a lovely thing collecting childhood memories.
