WELSH baroque music is to make an appearance on the classical circuit this month as L'Indiscret, a period instrument quartet comprising flute, violin, viola da gamba and harpsichord pay a visit the Purcell School on Sunday, March 16.
The concert, organised by the Octagon Music Society, is entitled Le Gout Francais - In the French Style, and will comprise music by Telemann, Rameau, Ravel and Bach.
The members of L'Indiscret are drawn from the Welsh Baroque Orchestra and also commission music from contemporary composers who welcome the challenge of composing for older instruments.
The concert takes place in the Constance Pilkington Hall, Purcell School of Music, Aldenham Road, Bushey on Sunday, March 16 at 7.45pm. Tickets: 01923 224092
