A multicultural event is being held to promote friendship and diversity in Watford.
Celebration 2008 will take place in the Colosseum on Sunday, May 25 and will include performances by ethnic and artistic groups, information stalls and a sacred space area' where residents will have the opportunity to learn about each faith group's beliefs and values.
The aim of the free event, in Rickmansworth Road, which is sponsored by Mayor Dorothy Thornhill and St Michael's Catholic High School and Specialist College in Garston, is to bring together all the cultures, faiths and talents of Watford and surrounding areas.
Childrens' entertainment will be provided along with food from various communities.
Doors will open at 11am until 6pm.
