An honorary life president of Watford Football Club is selling his grand piano in a London auction.

Sir Elton John, who was chairman of the football club twice, is auctioning his Steinway Grand piano that he played for rehearsals and celebrity singalongs at Bonhams, along with clothing and other musical instruments.

Elton John rehearsed his number one hit, Don't Go Breaking My Heart with Kiki Dee on the piano at his Windsor home.

Estimated at £35,000 to £45,000, the piano measures 8ft 11in.

It will be auctioned in the Entertainment sale at Bonhams in Knightsbridge on Wednesday, June 18.

Yes but when is he going to play that 60th birthday concert at Vicarage Road as he promised to do. He was 60 last year and we're still waiting. Come on Elton before there are too many Zimmer frames to fit in the stadium.

He's probably planning to join the house band on the Jonathan Ross TV show and make it FIVE Poofs and a Piano!

He played an apparent "farewell" show at Vicargae Rd more than 30 yrs ago ... which has proven to have had about as much sincerity as his loyalty to WFC ... :)

Now, if we could only hide Steve Kabba, Tamas Priskin and Will Hoskins under the lid, we could kill two birds with one stone.
