A Watford cab driver is set to be recognised in Parliament, after being nominated for a Taxi Award.
Mr Zaheer Ahmed was put forward for the award by Watford's MP Dean Russell.
The awards are held in Parliament annually and "celebrate the tireless efforts and exceptional service of taxi drivers across the country".

Mr Ahmed is both a taxi driver and chairman of the Watford Hackney Carriage Drivers Association.
During a campaign to save the Pryzm nightclub in Watford, he spoke out about how a potential closure would affect his colleagues and the wider community.
Dean Russell MP said: "I am delighted to nominate Zaheer Ahmed for this well-deserved recognition at the Taxi Awards.
"His exceptional service as a taxi driver and his tireless efforts as Chairman of the Watford Hackney Carriage Drivers Association have made a significant impact in our community.

The awards will be attended by MPs, government officials and community leaders.
