An Abbots Langley man is set to be sentenced after admitting to sending naked pictures of himself to a child.
Philip Hayes, of Summerhouse Way, is set to appear in Harrow Crown Court for sentencing after he indicated a guilty plea to engaging in sexual communication with a child during an appearance in Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (November 28).
It is alleged that the 42-year-old intentionally communicated with a girl, younger than 16 years old, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification on October 3 of last year.

According to court documents, it is alleged that the communication was sexual “namely sending naked images of himself” and occurred in Harrow Weald in London.
The sentencing date was not fixed during the magistrates’ court appearance.
He was granted unconditional bail ahead of the crown court appearance.
The offence of sexual communication with a child falls under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
