Plans submitted to Hertsmere Borough Council's planning committee could see 14 cottages demolished in Radlett.
The plans, submitted on Friday (December 1) have seen Kedrion Biopharma - an organisation with the same owners as Radlett's Bio Products Laboratory - apply for prior notification for the Lister Cottages at Dagger Lane to be removed.
The buildings were most recently used as accommodation for Bio Products Laboratory staff. Each cottage is two storeys tall and semi-detached.
They are on green belt land within one of Hertsmere Borough Council's archaeological sites.
A specification included within the application reads: "The demolition contractor shall demolish and remove from [the] site all above ground structures...unless noted otherwise on the drawings.

"Basements, pits and trenches and other voids, will be backfilled with selected consolidated materials."
Residents have until Wednesday, December 20, to comment or object to the application.
