A man kicked his way into a house’s back garden and robbed a woman sitting outside.
The suspect booted the garden gate open in Sydney Road, Watford, and reportedly told the victim in her 40s that he had been watching the house, before grabbing her phone.
During the robbery on Friday (December 8), between 5.30pm and 6pm, some members of the public attempted to intervene, but a second suspect then arrived to help the robber escape.
The phone was recovered but the pair managed to flee towards Hagden Lane on foot.
