The following announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week:

Susan Margaret Cox – Sadly passed away peacefully on 23rd December 2023, aged 82 years. A beloved mother to Clifford, Jackie, Richard and Stephen, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Pasquale D’Urso – 24.11.1933 – 14.12.2023 – It is with great sadness that the family of Pasquale announce his passing. Beloved Husband of the late Antonia and Father of Valentina, Michael, Paola, Cristiano and Gianluigi, and Nonno to Joshua, Michael, Daniel, Louie and Milo. Pasquale arrived in England from Italy in 1958, bringing his skills in hairdressing. He quickly established his own business, which was a mainstay in Watford for over half a century. He was a true pioneer of his time, and a remarkable man who blessed the lives of everyone fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace Dad. Our love forever.

VAL FINCH – Sadly passed away on Wednesday 13th December 2023, aged 84. A much loved Mum, Nan and Mother-in-Law, who will be greatly missed.

HAINES Mary Rose – Sadly passed away on Wednesday 27th December 2023 aged 84 years. A loving mum to Ruth and Paula, and a Nan to 4 Grandchildren. Mary will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Now reunited with her beloved husband Aubrey.

LAKE Doris Irene ‘Dot’ – Sadly passed away on 30th December 2023, aged 96. A much loved Aunt who will be greatly missed by all her family & friends.

PAYNE Valerie Pauline ‘Pauline’ – Sadly passed away on Tuesday 2nd January 2024, aged 81 years. A much loved Mum and Nan who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Now reunited with her beloved Husband Cyril.

BETTY MAY REYNOLDS – Passed away peacefully on New Year’s Eve 2023. Very much loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Alan Roberts – Sadly passed away on 19th December 2023 aged 67 years. Alan will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, especially his loving wife of Sian, Sons Aaron and Declan and his twin Sister Wendy.

ROBINS Doreen Leonie Graham ‘Deen’ – Devoted wife of Wilfred Robins (Robbie), deceased. Beloved mum to Cindy (deceased) and David, grandmother to Andrew and Jane, Matt and Charlotte, and great-grandmother to Natasha, died peacefully on Thursday, January 4th, 2024 at Torbay Hospital. She spent all her married life in Cassiobury Drive, leaving to be close to her son after 60 happy years.

TENNANT David Henry – Sadly passed away on Wednesday 13th December 2023, aged 82 years. A much loved Dad and Brother who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Now reunited with his beloved Wife Irene.
