Motorist faced severe delays near Watford last night after a five-vehicle pile-up caused the M25 to be closed for an hour.
Hertfordshire Police confirmed they were called at 7.42pm on Wednesday January 31 to the collision near junction 18 of the M25.
The motorway was shut clockwise between junctions 17 and 19 while emergency services dealt with the incident. No one is believed to have been seriously injured.

National Highways reported delays up to 30 minutes leading up to the scene, while Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue confirmed they were called at 7.55pm.
Two fire engines from Garston and Rickmansworth fire stations were sent to the crash site, where fire crews helped to make the scene safe.
The motorway was reopened at 9.20pm.
