A 34 year-old man was arrested early this morning after a car was stolen in a string of attempted break-ins in Watford.
Police arrested the man on suspicion of vehicle interference and theft of a motor vehicle, and he remains in police custody.
They received reports at around 2.20am today, February 2, of a series of attempted break-ins into vehicles in the Nascot area.
A Honda CR-V, Ford Fiesta, a Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque were the cars targeted in Langley Road.

A Citroen C4 was later stolen in Courtlands Drive, where it was found abandoned nearby with its engine running.
Inspector Dan Jones, who leads the Watford Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We’d like to publicly thank the residents who called us on 999 without hesitation as it enabled us to attend immediately and make a timely arrest, as well as return the stolen vehicle to its registered owner, which is a fantastic result.”
The inspector warned the public to make sure their vehicles are locked against “opportunist” thieves, as one of the targeted cars was left unlocked overnight with the car keys visible on the dashboard.
