A woman in her 80s had her home burgled and ransacked in Carpenders Park - just weeks after two more break-ins nearby.
Herts Police have launched an investigation after a house in Carpenders Avenue was targeted on Tuesday, February 6, between 11.30am and 7.30pm.
The suspect(s) broke into the back of the property through a side door while the victim was out, the force said, though officers are still trying to establish what was taken.
Anyone with information, including CCTV or doorbell footage, has been asked to contact police via their website or non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 41/10603/24.

- Homes burgled and ransacked in Carpenders Park sparks appeal
It comes after two other Carpenders Park homes were raided in two days last month.
Properties in On the Hill and Foxleys were ransacked late at night on January 21 and the early evening on January 22.
The force advised residents to attach timer switches to table lamps set to activate at different times if they will be late home or going away for a few days, which will make it look like the home is occupied and deter potential burglars.
