A health and wellness day for NHS staff at Watford General Hospital was recently organised to guide and support those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

Anytime Fitness Bushey and Anytime Fitness Croxley Park held the wellbeing day for the staff to equip the healthcare workers with the knowledge they need to maintain and improve their health and wellbeing.

Colin Walker, manager of Anytime Fitness Bushey, said: "Collaborating with Anytime Fitness Croxley Park to support the NHS has been an exceptionally rewarding journey.

"Our initiative is a heartfelt expression of gratitude and support for the NHS staff, who stand as the true backbone of our community.

"Their unwavering commitment to our health is what inspires us to give back, reinforcing the importance of solidarity in fostering a healthier, stronger community."

The event was greeted with appreciation by NHS staff and has paved the way for future initiatives to support the health and wellness of community caregivers.

Andrew McMenemy, chief people officer for West Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, said: "We are so grateful to Anytime Fitness for supporting our staff to live healthier lifestyles.

"It is part of our ethos to ensure that our colleagues are happy and healthy, with staff wellbeing a top priority for the trust. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with Anytime Fitness to improve the health and wellbeing of our colleagues."
