A Watford Post Office has completed a refurbishment and tripled its opening hours.
Since April 25, customers have been unable to use Hallowes Crescent Post Office, off Hayling Road near South Oxhey, as it underwent a project to modernise its offering.
After reopening at 1pm today (May 3), the “new-style branch” will open daily with significantly earlier opening hours and much later closing.

Post Office network provision lead Zoe Hall said: “Hallowes Crescent Post Office and store looks great after its refurbishment.
“With the Post Office counter alongside the retail counter there is now vastly improved opening hours, which will make it much easier for Post Office customers to pop as the hours have trebled.”
The branch previously opened from 9am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. After the refurb, it will open every day and the hours are 5.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday, 6am to 8.30pm Saturdays, and 6am to 7.30pm on Sundays.
The newly refurbished branch offers most Post Office products and services alongside the retail counter.
