A South Oxhey man has avoided prison after breaching his suspended sentence for stamping on a stab victim.
Taylor Thompson-Hughes, 20, of Prestwick Road, was sentenced in September for stamping on Alan Zablocki’s forehead after his co-defendant Keyarno Johnson-Allen, formerly of Prestwick Road, stabbed him.
The incident happened on October 30, 2022, after a brawl in the taxi queue outside the St Aldates Tavern in Oxford.
Johnson-Allen, 20, stabbed his victim once in the back then replaced the trainer that had come off his foot when he fell to the ground.
Thompson-Hughes then left an imprint of the sole of his shoe on the victim’s forehead.
Judge Michael Gledhill sentenced Johnson-Allen to five years’ detention in a young offenders’ institution. He suspended Thompson-Hughes’ 12-month sentence for two years.

As part of the sentence, he had to complete 150 hours of unpaid work, up to 46 rehabilitation activity requirement days, and was ordered to wear an alcohol abstinence tag for 120 days.
However, he appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Monday, May 13, after failing to show up for two unpaid work sessions on January 10 and January 18 this year without a good excuse.
Recorder James Hay ordered Thomson-Hughes to pay a £50 fine.
He said: “It would be unjust to activate the suspended sentence given your level of compliance.”
