A BEDFORDSHIRE teenager has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Daniel Rush, who died from severe head injuries after being beaten in north Watford.
Lee Devlin, 18, of Badgers Gate, Dunstable, is due to appear at Watford Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday, March 11), along with James Newton, also 18, of Palmerston Road, in Kilburn, London, who is charged with assisting an offender. A 19-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the murder was released without charge.
Daniel, who lived on the Meriden estate, died in hospital last Saturday (March 1) after he was attacked with what is believed to have been a hammer in Longsprings at 9pm on Monday, February 24.
