Vintage motorcycle stolen

A vintage motorcycle was stolen from a Garston block of flats this week.

The blue and gray, early 1960s NSU Quickly was stolen from the communal area in Garston between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the theft but have not given a street name.

PC Liz Johnson, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously with a vintage motorcycle in the Garston area of Watford around this time or who may have seen a motorcycle fitting the description.

“We are hoping to re-unite the motorcycle with its owner as soon as possible, because it holds a great deal of sentimental value.”

Anyone with information is asked to telephone 0845 33 00 222
