Shamed politician, Ian Oakley, is due to appear in court this afternoon for sentencing.

Oakley, 31, of Ryeland Close, West Drayton, is expected to be sentenced at St Albans Magistrates Court at 2pm today.

The former Tory prospective parliamentary candidate for Watford has already admitted masterminding a three-year hate campaign against his political rivals, including Sal Brinton.

Oakley pleaded guilty to five charges of criminal damage and two counts of harassment six weeks ago. He also asked for 68 other offences to be taken into account.

I hear sentencing will be deferred until a later date, as the reports haven't been written yet.

I can't wait! Sounds like the previous poster has some inside knowledge. Are you talking about mitigating psychiatric reports from Hillingon, where Mr Oakley cut his teeth?

If so, I will comment further, later...
