The sentencing of disgraced politician Ian Oakley has been postponed for four weeks after a psychiatric report was not finished in time.
The former Conservative parlimentary candidate, who has admitted masterminding a three year hate campaign against his political rivals in the town, appeared at St Albans Crown Court this afternoon.
However, in front of a packed court room, magistrates said the 31-year-old will now be sentenced on Monday, October 13.
Six weeks ago Oakley pleaded guilty to five charges of criminal damage and two counts of harassment. He also asked for 68 other offences to be taken into account.
