JUNIOR members of Kings Langley angling society gathered last week to take part in the club's annual event to clear litter along the Grand Union canal.
Supervised by senior members, the group, based in Railway Terrace, walked alongside a section of the canal clearing rubbish en route.
The two mile walk from Hunton Bridge to Grove Mill Lane began at 9am on Sunday, June 8, with ten junior members participating and three adults.
The group functioned as a working party and managed to clear ten bags of rubbish.
One member of the society, Mr Douglas Thomas, said: "The event was very successful, although we did not beat the 16 bags of rubbish we cleared last year.
"We do not just clear fishing rubbish, but some is also from boating but we like to do our part for the community and the environment."
