Bushey and Oxhey Ladies' Circle raises more than £1,000 for charity

A club for women in Bushey and Oxhey recently helped raise more than £1,000 for charity but is reaching out to more people to get involved in future meetings and events.

The Bushey and Oxhey Ladies' Circle was joined by a representative of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers who accepted a cheque for £1,100 at its last meeting.

The group also recently raised more than £100 for breast cancer charities.

The circle is for women aged between 18 and 45 years old. This year it has held charity dinners, shooting events, cocktail mixing sessions and ghost-themed sleepovers.
