Chief Scout, TV presenter and panto star Peter Duncan poses with members of the Batchworth Sea Scouts.
Mr Duncan, who recently starred in the Watersmeet production of Aladdin, paid a visit this month to the Sea Scouts’ Riverside Drive HQ.
The Sea Scouts, recognised and inspected by the Royal Navy, offer a range of water sports to youngsters aged six to 18.
Assistant Group Leader Simon Theobald said: “Peter was a fantastic guest. He took a huge interest in our fleet of boats and really enjoyed his time.
“Unfortunately, however, we couldn't tempt him on to the water.”
