CARTOONIST and former Radlett resident Paul Thomas will open an exhibition of his work this weekend.
Mr Thomas, who grew up in Radlett, was first published in the Borehamwood Post more than 25 years ago.
His first sketch depicted former Conservative prime minister Ted Heath's visit to Borehamwood, where he was heckled by National Front fascists and communists, but still won the crowd over and received a standing ovation.
Mr Thomas's works are now published in the Daily Express. About 1,300 of his cartoons have been published.
The exhibition begins on Saturday, September 20, at The Fish Gallery, 50 Mill Lane, West Hampstead, near West End Lane. It runs until October 4, from 11am until 6pm.
