X Factor contestant Amy Connelly will experience the other side of talent shows, when she judges West Herts College's forthcoming W Factor competition.
Since studying music at the college two years ago, Amy has appeared on the ITV1 show, landed a record contract and released her first single.
At the W Factor, Amy will judge the performers, perform herself and take part in a question and answer session.
The event, which takes place during the college's open evening on Tuesday, March 3, will also allow prospective students to test their vocal chords in front of the judging panel, for the chance to win £100 cash.
Dan Pearson, head of school of performing arts, music and media, said: “We're delighted to welcome Amy back to West Herts College – she's a great role model for young people aiming for a career in the music industry and we're all really proud of what she's achieved.”
The event, at the Watford campus in Hempstead Road, will take place from 6pm to 8pm. The W Factor will start at 7pm.
