WATFORD Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) has been awarded a high profile "Quality Mark" for the standard of advice it gives to its clients.
The Community Legal Services Commission confirmed the award on the CAB for the way it advises people who are in debt.
To win the mark, organisations have to meet minimum standards for their legal information, advice and specialist legal services. It is designed to ensure that a service is well run and has its own control mechanisms.
Watford Mayor Dorothy Thornhill congratulated the organisation on their achievement.
She said that people seeking information or help know that an organisation displaying the mark will provide a professional service.
