Harry Potter prize for Comic Relief fundraisers

Davina McCall visited Parmiter's School after pupils raised record amounts of money for Comic Relief.
Big Brother host Davina McCall surprised pupils at Parmiter's School, when she burst into their lesson.
Davina chatted to students before announcing that, as recognition for the record amounts of money the school has raised for Comic Relief, 12 pupils and teachers Katherine Bliss and Christelle Grenham would be treated to a tour of the Harry Potter set at Leavesden Studios.
The group will also watch some filming and meet stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley).
Footage of the visit, held last Wednesday at the school in High Elms Lane, will be shown during the Comic Relief programme on BBC1 on Friday evening.

The view seems to be "Yes, we know it's crap but it's for a good cause, so you'd better enjoy it," as if that is an excuse for putting on dire entertainment.
Whenever I see an evening's TV devoted to Comic Relief I automatically reach for a DVD.

I agree that for me 90% of what goes on is not very good, although there is the odd gem in amongst the tat. But its better now than when it used to go on for 24hrs! And ITV had their own version didn't they, can't recall what it was called though
Either way its still a cause i'm happy to support and i'm wearing my jeans today and have the red nose on my car and will be participating in the work charity raffle later on.
But as for tonight, thank goodness for sky +, i'll probably be catchin up on tele I missed earlier in the week
