RICHARD HAUGHTON, one of the hottest prospects in the country, has extended his contract at Saracens by a further two years.
The 22-year-old flier, who signed a one-year extension towards the end of last season, has now put pen to paper on a new, improved deal which will run until 2006.
"I'm delighted to have agreed an extension," said Haughton.
"I'm pleased to have done it so early on in the season. I've been at the club for six years now and had no intention of going anywhere else.
"I've been fairly pleased with my form of late and want to continue my development at the club.
"By letting me play Sevens over the last season or so I've been able to gain confidence and build my reputation as everyone's aim is to play for their country and mine is no different."
