BARRISTERS were locked in legal argument this morning (Tuesday, November 25) as the trial of two cousins charged in connection with the murder of Watford teenager Daniel Rush opened at Luton Crown Court.
Lee Devlin, 19, of Badgers Gate, Dunstable, is charged with murdering the 18-year-old apprentice carpenter after allegedly hitting him on the head with a hammer, on Monday, February 2.
James Newton, 19, of Palmerston Road, Kilburn, is accused of disposing of the alleged murder weapon.
A jury was expected to be sworn in on Thursday.
