Saracens forward Hugh Vyvyan has agreed a new two-year contract.

The 32-year-old has impressed incoming director of rugby Brendan Venter enough to earn an extended stay at Vicarage Road.

The former England international joined the Men in Black in 2004 from Newcastle Falcons and has since made 135 appearances for them.

Vyvyan said: "I'm delighted to have signed a new deal. My family and I are very settled in London and I'm enjoying my rugby so from a personal point of view, I'm very happy that I will be staying with the club for a further two seasons.

"When I moved to Saracens in 2004, I came here to be successful and although we have gone close on a few occasions, I still have the same desire as when I first joined the club and am looking forward to the exciting new season ahead."

In other news, Mickey Wilson is moving to Italian side Viadana next season. The 20-year-old scrum half played eight times for Sarries after signing from Treviso two years ago.
