A woman from Radlett has been charged with trying to dodge a speeding ticket by falsely claiming someone else was driving her car.
Lynette Haftel, 49, from The Avenue, Radlett, has been charged with four counts of perverting the course of justice after being stung by speed cameras last year.
She is accused of falsely nominating a man as the driver of her vehicle after it was caught speeding in Hertfordshire and Hull.
She has been charged with three counts of perverting the course of justice in Hertfordshire, between April and October last year, and a fourth in Hull in November.
Police have said they traced the man Ms Haftel nominated as her driver to Australia.
She has been bailed to appear at St Albans Magistrates Court on June 24.
