Watford MP Claire Ward has again backed the Prime Minister to lead the Labour Party out of its current slump.
The Watford MP was among hundreds of Labour MPs and peers who packed into a committee room inside the Palace of Westminster last night.
The Prime Minister is reported to have made an impassioned speech to the room in an attempt to unite his feuding party.
After watching his speech to MPs last night, Ms Ward said: “I do back the Prime Minister and I do think he put up a fantastic speech to the members of the Parliamentary Labour Party, which overwhelmingly supports him.
“There were some people who expressed concerns and those people have gone public already.
“But I don't think they reflect the support the Prime Minister has within the Labour Party.”
