Golfers club together for charity

Golfers have clubbed together to raise money for charity, by wearing pants over their trousers.

A Golf Grand Slam at TopGolf driving range, in Bushey Mill Lane, Watford, saw the venue donate £10 for every player who took part with their underwear over their trousers.

The event raised more than £800 for the Everyman Male Cancer campaign.

Michael Angelides, TopGolf marketing manager, said: “It was fantastic to see so many golf fans turn out for such a worthy cause.

“There were some interesting pants on show, too. Some looked a bit older than others.”

The Grand Slam was the final event of the TopGolf/Everyman partnership that has taken place throughout June, as part of Everyman Male Cancer Awareness Month.

Throughout the month, TopGolf donated 5p to the charity from every game played at the range.
