A father and son duo from Bushey Heath raised hundreds of pounds for charity when they cycled more than 60 miles to the seaside.
Graham Mendoza-Wolfson, 47, and his son David, 17, took part in the Capital to Coast Cycle Challenge in sweltering temperatures last week.
The ride, in aid of the Down’s Syndrome Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Heart’s Have a Heart appeal, began in Surrey and ended in Hove, East Sussex.
Organised by Olympic cycling gold medallists Rebecca Romero and Bradley Wiggins and the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, the event, held on Sunday, raised more than £300,000.
Mr Mendoza-Wolfson said: “It’s a lovely event. Anything that helps less advantaged people is worthwhile.”
