Organisers hope for sun at Leavesden fun day

Organisers of the community fun day in Leavesden are hoping the sun will shine on today's activities.
The event, in Aerodrome Way, is now in its second year and aims to integrate the community through a fun social event everyone can enjoy.
There will be a range of activities throughout the day including a football tournament organised by Watford Football Club, performances by the St Albans Majorettes and a dog show.
The day, organised by the Leavesden Steering Group, is supported by SPH Housing, Community Police for Abbots Langley and Riversmead housing.
The day will begin at noon, finishing at 4pm.
