Crash near Watford and Kings Langley causes M25 chaos

A collision between a lorry and a car on the M25 is causing traffic delays.

The incident occurred at 2pm on the slip road between junction 19 (Watford) and junction 20 (Kings Langley) on the clockwise carriageway.

The collision resulted in the car spinning around and facing the wrong direction.

Three fire crews from Watford, Garston and Rickmansworth attended the incident as did the ambulance service.

A female passenger travelling in the car had to be cut out due to a history of back problems.

She, along with the driver, a man, were taken to Watford General with minor injuries.

The accident has been cleared and recovery work is taking place. All lanes have now re-opened and traffic is easing.
