Dentist cycles for charity

A Watford dentist will cycle 60 miles later this month in memory of his brother and in aid of charity.

Dr Adrian Mullish, of Adrian Mullish Dental Care, Hempstead Road is also offering new patients half price check-ups and oral cancer screening as part of his fundraising effort for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Dr Mullish, 50, who lives in Elstree, said: "Cancer screening and research into treatment and prevention is very important to me as my brother died from bowel cancer 11 years ago and I am delighted to be able to support this charity."

His brother died at the age of 50, which made Dr Mullish decide to celebrate his own 50th birthday by doing something significant.

On July 26 Dr Mullish will embark on his cycle challenge from London to Cambridge.

He said: "Some friends of mine have promised to double their sponsorship if I cycle in a pink tutu and as you can see I am making sure that Breakthrough Breast Cancer receives every penny I can."

Dr Mullish is offering all new patients the chance to have a full check-up, x-rays and oral cancer screening for £30, from which £5 will be donated to the charity.
