Watford Football Club community project gets Extra Time and a visit from Graham Taylor

Hornets director Graham Taylor made a pre-season trip to the club today, to visit an activity project tailored for the town's senior residents.

The Extra Time project, held at Watford Football Club's Vicarage Road stadium, offers free games and activities each Thursday for people aged 60 and over.

The scheme, which has been extended further eight weeks until October 1, was funded through donations from the Football Foundation to club's Community Sports and Education Trust, which runs the project.

The Trust also received funding from the Hertfordshire Sports Partnership and Watford Borough Council.

Well Done Graham
You never stop helping the club, we all "supporters" think you are great.

This project has been a storming success. Huge thanks to the club, Gareth and his many helpers. Very typical of GT to give of his time and come down with Rita to address the group.
