The sister of Watford soldier Captain Tom Sawyer, who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this year, will hit the streets to raise money for an Armed forces charity.
Wendy Sawyer, 24, and four friends will be collecting donations for Help For Heroes from 7pm on Friday, ahead of their planned skydive on Saturday, August 8.
Wendy, from Blackwell Drive, Oxhey, and Leanne Pearce, Michael Roach, Rebecca Share and Andrew Powell, will be between Chicago Rock Cafe and the pond in The Parade, Watford.
They will all be dressed in military-style clothing.
The group are raising money for the charity, which supports wounded soldiers, in memory of Wendy's brother.
Captain Tom Sawyer, 26, was serving with 7 (Sphinx) Commando Battery, 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery, when he was killed in an explosion in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on Wednesday, January 14.
