A 20-year-old man from Bovingdon has been arrested after a road collision left a cyclist with serious leg injuries.
The man was arrested after a police appeal through the Watford Observer and has subsequently been charged with failing to stop after the crash.
The incident occurred shortly after 11.30am in Box Lane on Saturday, August 8.
It is believed a silver car collided with a cyclist on the carriageway from Hemel Hempstead to Bovingdon.
The cyclist, a 24-year-old man from Bovingdon was taken to Watford General Hospital with leg injuries.
The man has been bailed until September 1.
