A police chief inspector who worked in Watford during his 30 year career has retired.
Chief Inspector Nigel Brown's last post was with the Custody and Criminal Justice Policy Unit, based at police headquarters in Welwyn Garden City.
Before that, he was chief inspector of the road policing unit for Hertfordshire and of Community Safety and Partnerships.
He began his career in the Western Area division, and worked as an inspector in Watford.
Nigel, of Hemel Hempstead, said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Hertfordshire Constabulary and working for the people of Hertfordshire.
“I will miss the people I have worked with and wish them all the best for the future.”
