'World's most travelled Bible' to visit Watford

The “world's most travelled Bible” will pay a visit to Watford on Monday as part of a world tour that began in the Philippines and has already taken in more than 80 countries.

The copy of the Bible is in the UK for just two days as part of the world tour that will see it become the most widely travelled Bible by July 2010, when its tour of America finishes. The ‘Follow the Bible’ programme is a worldwide initiative organised by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is aimed at getting church members reconnected with the Bible.

During its stay in the UK the travelling Bible will visit churches in Berkshire, London and Dublin before visiting Stanborough Primary School, in Garston, on Monday morning.

Just wait......

The loony left will no doubt argue that displaying this 'proper' Holy Book in Watford will upset the delicate constitution of our Muslim Brethern and request to have it banned......

The Bible started it's journey in the Solomon Islands and was on display in the Stanborough Park Church on Saturday 12th during the services.
Each book of the Bible is in a different language. Some of the languages being Swedish, French, Polish, Hindi, Greek and Arabic.
A lot of interest in it was shown by the members who enjoyed looking up the books in their own language.
Probablythe most interest was shown in the Gospel of John which is in Pidgin English, with many attempting to read and understand it.
