Cast and crew of Only Fools and Horse visited a Harefield pub this week to film scenes for new episode.
Characters from the hit show will return to television screens next year in a prequel, set in the 1960s.
Key scenes were shot on Wednesday at The Oaks, in Coppermill Lane, which doubled for the fictional Duke of Margate.
Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst) will play his own father in the one-off 90 minute episode, featuring an early Jolly Boys’ Outing to the seaside town – a trip immortalised in the Christmas Day edition of 1989.
Pub manager Lisa Duncan said: “I’ve been a fan of the show since it started so it was fantastic to have them here. “They were all here, Nicholas Lyndhurst was filming and even David Jason popped in to say hello to everybody even though he’s not in it.
“They rang us out of the blue a few weeks ago. They chose us because we are a very traditional looking pub.
“All in all they filmed a lot of stuff, they had an old coach running up and down the road for ages – it was great to watch.
The new episode, originally scheduled for Christmas, will be screened at Easter.
