Service personnel returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are being offered help by a hypnotherapist to adjust to civilian life.
Christine Black, a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, is participating in a programme offering a free consultation/session to assist with relaxation, removing anxiety, dealing with depression and loss, processing traumatic events and building self-esteem.
The sessions held at The Changing Room, High Street, Bushey, use cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) – recognised as one of the most effective treatments for conditions where anxiety or depression is the main problem.
