Drugs to combat the effects of Parkinson's Disease and their side effects were the topic of conversation at this month's meeting of the West Hertfordshire branch of the Parkinson's Disease Society.
More than 100 members were addressed by Steve Ford, chief executive of the national society, on efforts to bring it into the 21st Century, before Dr Rizya Syed, a consultant at Watford General Hospital, spoke about drugs.
The meeting, on November 5, also saw Ruth Venn, branch outings officer, recognised for ten years of service.
