A designer clothing sale will take place to raise money for a charity set up in memory of a loving mother from Oxhey Village.

Julia Bayliss, 35, lost her battle against Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in August this year, leaving husband Warren and their three children.

Following a band and curry night, a quiz evening and other social events, this will be the last fundraiser held this year.

All money raised from the designer clothing sale will be donated to the Remembering Julia Trust to help fund research, care and treatment of Leukaemia and cancer patients.

Warren, a teacher from King Edward Road, said: “The support of the local community has been fantastic and there are lots of events planned for next year already. We are working on producing a website for the charity and have a logo in place so things are really moving in a positive direction.”

The sale will take place from noon to 3pm on Saturday, December 12, at Bushey and Oxhey Methodist Church, King Edward Road, Bushey. Entrance is £1.

Anyone who wishes to support the Remembering Julia Trust in future should email Warren Bayliss at thebaylingos@yahoo.co.uk.
