Rotary Club to spread festive cheer

Members of the Rickmansworth Rotary Club will take to the streets once again next week in a bid to raise money and spread Christmas cheer.

For many years the club, ably assisted by Father Christmas and his sleigh, has visited homes across the town to raise money for its annual Christmas appeal – money used to buy treats for elderly and vulnerable residents.

The Rotary Club’s sleigh will call at the locations listed below between 6pm and 8pm:

• Wednesday, December 2: Highfield Way, Meadow Way, Hill Rise, Ridge Way, Berry Way, Pheasants Way, Beacon Way, Upper Hill Rise.
• Thursday, December 3: Grove Road, Springwell Avenue, Penn Road, Mill Way, Whitfield Way, Basing Road, Fotherley Road, Home Way.
• Monday, December 7: Oakfield, Queens Drive, Edinburgh Avenue, Ivinghoe Road, Albury Road, Chiltern Drive, Arnett Way, Arnett Close, Berry Lane, Burry Way, Beacon Way.
• Tuesday, December 8: Manor Way, Repton Way, Owens Way, Dulwich Way, Fuller Way, Sherbourn Way, Rugby Way, Barton Way, Malvern Way, Lancing Way, Winchester Way, Barton Way, Sherborne Way, Durrants Drive, Kenilworth Drive, Rochester Way, Lincoln Way, Lincoln Drive.
• Wednesday, December 9: Durrants Drive, Warwick Way, Links Way, Richmond Way, Ludlow Way, Links Way, Dover Way, Little Green Lane, Norwich Way, Lewes Way, Hastings Way.
