Three men charged with stealing more than 30 tonnes of train track will stand trial in January.
The track estimated to weigh 38.24 tonnes and valued more than £11,000 went missing from Kings Langley railway station car park between Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5.
At St Albans Magistrates' Court, the case against Kendall Commins, 39, of Northgate Path, Borehamwood; Stephen Jackson, 31, of Morpeth Avenue, Borehamwood, and John Dickinson, 39, of Staindrop Road, Winston, Darlington, was sent to the crown court to be dealt with.
All three men are accused of conspiracy to steal.
They are on bail and due to enter pleas at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday, January 5.
