Paramedics couldn't save Bedmond crash victim


Paramedics were unable to save a motorist who was thrown from his car following a crash in Bedmond this morning.

Dr David Gaunt, an A&E consultant from Watford General Hospital, was sent to Bedmond High Street at 1.23am this morning alongside fast response cars from Abbots Langley and Leavesden, an ambulance officer from Watford and an ambulance crew from Hemel Hempstead.

On arrival they found the male motorist had been thrown from his car following a collision and was trapped under the vehicle. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
