Danny Dyer in Watford filming

Tough-guy actor Danny Dyer is filming scenes for his new film in Watford this afternoon.

Danny, 32, spent much of this afternoon in the Watford Business Park, filming scenes for a zombie horror film.

He was filmed leaving ‘prison’ in Caxton Way this afternoon – in reality the offices of Sentrum, a technology company.

Nick Wade, location manager, said: "Danny's character is called Joe, and the film, called 'Devil's Playground' will be out next year."

Production was briefly halted while a large lorry was parked opposite the set, delaying the actor who reportedly "just wanted his lunch".

Over the road in Croxley Green business park, another crew had set up its cameras, filming a Ryvita advert.
